Aloha everyone,
I just posted a video on Youtube showing my Geektool time display issue. Basically, it can summed up thusly: I display the hours, minutes, and seconds, and have Geektool update it every second. When the final digit of the seconds is 9, the process stops for about four seconds. This process repeats over and over again, and it, while not really a big issue, is starting to drive me up the wall. Has anyone else experienced this issue, and if so, what was done to resolve same?
Any and all responses are very much welcome.
UPDATE: This appears to be a Geektool issue, and I can do nothing with Geektool while the seconds display hangs. This is a strange issue, but does NOT go away when the seconds portion of the UNIX command is removed. What I'm using is the following shell command:
date +%H:%M:%S
Once again, if anyone has any suggestions and/or comments on any possible resolution to this issue, I will be most thankful.
