Updated iPhoto annoyance

I just upgraded to the new iPhoto. It is really starting to annoy me. With the old one the Event Folders were really nice. If you wanted to take some photos out and make a new event you selected the ones you wanted and dragged them to "events" in the sidebar. It would just transfer them to a new event and they wouldn't remain in the old folder. with the NEW update, you can drag them still, but the photos still remain in the old event. Its annoying to keep track of which ones transferred and then have to delete them.
