Updated Mac Pro in Apple Store?

Hi all,

I was just on the apple store and noticed that they now show the mac pro with a "new" label above it like the macbook pro and macbook. I can't see anything different about it. Can anyone confirm that this is the same mac pro as available in january. If so, why would they re-add the new label 2 months later?

I see that, too. What is interesting is that is only shows up in the education store. When I log out and go to the consumer store, there is no icon.

I bought my Mac Pro at the beginning of Feb and I see no differences in what is listed there.

So the people checking out the new MBP and MB will also check out the 'new' Mac Pro.

Its been that way since the Penryn Upgrade.. They are still fairly new.

When the penryns first came out the mac pros were not listed as new.

Yes they were. The "New" tag went away about a week ago on the standard store. If it's back, it's back.

Strange. I just looked. It shows up on the Canadian site but not the U.S. site.
