Last night I updated OSX and after it restarted it booted windows(in bootcamp). I shut it down and tried again and still only windows. any ideas on how to fix this? I'm calling applecare tomorrow, but thought there may be some ideas here. thanks!

Have you tried changing the startup disk within windows? I've heard someone mention that as a solution on here before.

A firend of mine had a similar problem, but not nearly as bad as what you described. Every restart, without "option" intervention, his MBP would boot into Windows. I had him change the start-up disk in OS X to Mac's partition and now it always starts up in OS X, unless there is "option" intervention.
