MBP 15" with Nvidia 330M and Win 7 64 bit here...

Updated from the default Bootcamp drivers to official Nvidia ones (285.62), and now my fans are noticeably louder, even sitting idle at desktop. Is there a way to change the idle fan speeds in Windows?

yes there is way to manually control the fans in windows.

I use macfan the project was abandoned but the program still works even in windows 7. I have the same OS bootcamped on my MBP.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/macfan/

read the release notes and make sure you know how to use the cd command in the cmd utility.

also when running the program make sure to use the macfanx64.exe
so your command will look like this
C:Users\XXXXX\desktop\macfanx64.exe 4000 4000

the 4000 4000 is what Rpm you want your fans to run
