Updated software, now no Wi-Fi

Can anyone help?

I've got a friend who has recently done the latest software update on 4S.

Since then her Wi-Fi slider has been greyed out and she is unable to turn Wi-Fi on?

I advised her to try the sleep/home reset but she tells me this didn't work.

Also tried Network reset.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Its the logic board I had the same problem happen to me and it wont even work after you restore it. I was lucky enough to have the genius bar replace it after my warranty expired

Try a clean restore. If that won't work, take it to an Apple Store.
