Updated to ios11 lost albums

so I updated to ios11 yesterday.
When I checked photos on my iPad I had multiple empty photo albums with the same names as my actual photo albums.

I deleted the empty albums and on my iPad everything looks good.

On my phone and Mac the albums all except one have vanished. The photos are still present just the albums are not.
The iPad is still showing everything as being how I want it.

How do I get this reflected on my other devices? I have close to 7000 photos and really do not want to have to manually order them all again.

thought I would leave an update just in case anyone else has this issue.

The work around I found was to create a new album on my iPad, then go to the old album and add all the photos to the new one and then delete the old album. Seems to have synced everything correctly with my phone Mac and as of today 4KTV
