Anyone hear any rumors about the new Apple Card partner recently? I feel like we heard a lot about Chase & possibly also Sychrony over the summer, but I don't remember seeing anything more recently.

I feel like the news that Goldman & Apple were ending their partnership early talked about a change in early 2025, which is coming up fast. It's possible I'm misremembering the dates, but a quick look at Macrumors articles mentions a 12-15 month timeline to end the partnership from back in Nov 2023, so early 2025 seems right (assuming nothing has changed).

Just curious if I've missed any news as I don't check the site every day (but a search didn't bring up anything so I'm guessing not)

Latest buzz: Chase might be the one to take over GS Apple Card division!

Didn't know that GS took on subprime customers - way more than Cap 1 !

Cool. Thanks for sharing.

It will be interesting to see how things change if Chase takes over. Chase integrates with quicken, which apple card doesn’t currently (other than end of month downloads). I hope the apple savings account doesn’t get chases current savings rates, which are much lower.
