Updating 3.0 Server Could not be Contacted

Anyone having trouble like this, I assume this is just because many many ppl are trying to update to 3.0 and Apple's servers are getting hammered...

I want to update my phone but is there anything that can be done?

Just keep trying... I did it over and over and about the 10th time was a charm.

I just hit ok to turn the alert off then just clicked on update and it will install the software.

I have the same problem. I've tried for about 50 times and it's still not working.
It keeps saying the samme error message.

Of course this s**t would happen to me, just after getting out of work being told that I didn't get the job I applied for 3 weeks ago. LMF

ah finally after 30 minutes I was able to get 3.0 to install, now it is just wait and see time, but Apple is getting hammered with ppl trying to do all the 3.0 updates at the same time, I guess will millions of millions of iPhone users all try at the same time, their servers can't handle all of it....Wheew
