Updating an unlocked iphone from 1.14 to 2.2

Hi I have a jailbroken unlocked 2g 1.14 iphone that I want to update to 2.2. is there an easy of going from 1.14 to 2.2? I'm in Canada so I believe my phone needs to unlocked correct? I am using windows

Any help would be greatly appreciated
