Updating apps constantly ask for password

I have two accounts and it used to be that after I’d signed in to both, apps would update no problem. Now I get the prompt to enter my password for one or the other (even for the one I’m already signed into) over and over, and the apps won’t update. Then they suddenly will. Then the next day I’ll hit Update All and get the prompt multiple times for one or both passwords over and over, again. This is incredibly annoying.
