Hey All,
I am still running windows via the boot camp beta (on OS 10.4). I'm planning to wait for 10.6 to update, at which point I believe I'll get the (newly updated) prime-time boot camp. I was also considering buying Parallels sometime soon.
The problem is that I've heard that some people have had issues with the synch between boot camp & Parallels when they are both working off the same partition. My concern is that if I install Parallels attached to my current beta Boot Camp partition, when I update the Boot Camp in a couple months when 10.6 comes out, Parallels may go into a funk.
Did anyone do this previously (Install the boot camp beta, install parallels attached to the boot camp beta partition, then install 10.5 with the full-blown boot camp)? Were there any issues with parallels recognizing/dealing with the partition after boot camp was updated? Any other general advice about this? Basically, I'm trying to decide whether I should just wait, and do without Parallels until Snow Leopard comes out. Thanks!
