Updating Errors

Ever since I installed 2.0.1 I can not update apps through the app store on my iPhone 3G and whenever I try to get the updates through iTunes, it tells me most of the updates can't be installed. Sometimes if i delete the app off the iphone then connect it to iTunes it helps, but that's only about 25% effective.

I had hoped 2.1 would clear this up but to no avail.

I'm getting frustrated.

Ideas?
