I have been trying to update the firmware on an iMac G3 and on a iBook G3 clamshell, but I cannot get the apple support page to load on either of the computers. They both get hung up at the same spot (sending request for /support/scripts/ACSurvey.js)

I'm just trying to get the firmware updated so I can move from OS 9 to either Panther or Jaguar.

Any help?

Thanks

Yeah, I thought about that as soon as as I posted, but was hoping I didn't have to look around for a USB drive. Oh well, guess that's what I'll do.

Thanks!

you can use a USB-stick, too. The files are very small.

Got on another computer so I can get the firmware and found out I needed at least 9.1. Both the iMac & iBook are on os9, so now I have to find a retail disc of 9.1.

Really wish I didn't have so much fun playing with theses old things. Lol
