Updating from 4.0 to 4.2.1 - IPSW File Question?

Hey all

QUick question. My wifes JB iPhone4 is still on 4.0 and I want to upgrade her to 4.2.1 and then GReenpoison a JB. We have used TinyUmbrella to save her SHSHs and she has the 4.2.1. version showing - however when I use the iClarified Guide it asks for a IPSW file - anyone have a guide to help out or say what I am doing wrong?

Thanks for that. I will have a look at it. Need to figure out how to update her iPhone to 4.2.1 first and then upgrade.

Hey there all

A few questions... where are the IPSW files kept for Windows 7? When I look in App Data - Roaming - iTunes - iPhone Software Update folder I see only one file iPhone3,1_4.2.1_8C148_Restore.ipsw dated back from 12/9/10? I sync two iphones on this PC so how do I know this is the correct one? Also in the link above it doesnt guide you through the update without the IPSW - is that the one I mention here? I am fine JB with Greenpoison as I have done mine its just this whole going from 4.0 to 4.2.1 thing I am struggling with
