updating from 4.2.1 JB to just regular 4.3.1

is there anything i would need to know before i do this? i just have to put it into DFU mode -> insert my sister's iphone then update it? i'm asking because she dropped her iphone in her boyfriends fish tank, and she is just going to get a replacement and pay $200 for it
 
anyone know why i am getting error 1013?
 
Your host file on your computer has been modified or you have Tiny umbrella on your computer. Therefore, you received a 1013 error because it is not pointing at Apple server.

Look for several posts from me that I have posted in this forum on how to fix this.

hm... let me try my sisters laptop, since my host file has been edited


ah man, thank you. did not know that editing the host file would do that, finally i can go to bed. thanks again Crystal-RX
