I put the GM of iOS 6 on my iPhone 4S early last week when it was released. Today I have yet to see an OTA release for the new iOS - will the GM count as the "Official" update for my phone? Never done the beta for a iOS release before so this is new territory for me.

GM is final, not beta

As I thought. Just wanted to make sure. Passbook still isn't working for me, so I wondered if maybe something was missing.

Thanks.

Passbook is going to be empty without passes in it. If you have the GM and are a developer, you should have been able to use the Passbook test passes to ensure that it works. I have verified it with the GM and can say that for my device at least it works. Generally though, passbook is empty 90% of the time unless you are an active traveler or event goer
