updating ip4 to 4.0.2--frozen?

I'm currently in the process of updating my software from 4.0 to 4.0.2

right now in itunes, the status bar seems stuck in the same place for the past hour. It doesnt seem to me that it has moved at all. Is the update really taking that long to install or is it frozen?

any tips?

It might got stuck.
Restart the computer and try restoring again.
If its not letting you put in in DFU
