Not sure if anyone has seen this page or not, but here it is:

I've heard a lot of people complain that when making backups it doesn't let you save things like text messages and notes. They say when they restore their hacked iPhone they lost lots of important notes, etc. Check out this excerpt:
"When you connect your iPhone to your computer, settings and other information on your iPhone are automatically backed up to your computer, including mail settings, text messages, notes, call history, contact favorites, sound settings, and widget settings. You can restore this information if you need to (if you get a new iPhone, for example, and want to transfer your previous settings to it)."
So did it really do this before or is this something that is specific to the iTunes update or a new iPhone update? I also think it's interesting how they listed both the iPhone and iPod Touch update info on the same page. Seems like development for these may both be going on in tandem. Like in a previous post I just read, the iPhone version 1.1.1 seems likely given the iPod Touch version 1.1. May just be Mobile OSX 1.1.1, with the only difference leaving out the extra apps, also including the phone app. May also be why the iPod Touch has bluetooth on the diagnostic screen?
Hoping for the update on Monday...
