Updating iPhone to iOS 5: Different iTunes

If I'm trying to utilize an iPhone that is synced to a another computer (Windows). Will updating it to iOS 5 and syncing it to my Mac make the it unable to sync to it's original iTunes and retrieve its music?
 
Pretty sure that iOS5 requires the beta iTunes for syncing so you should install the beta on both computers.
There is a beta available for Windows.
