Updating iTunes Genres

I am searching for a program (paid or fee) that will update the missing genres in my iTunes library. There are are couple programs out there that purport to do this, but have miserable user ratings.

Can anyone recommend a way to do this. If necessary, I will do it manually if I have a source to look the genres up, so if you have a recommendation for a one by one lookup please pass that on.

I looked up the user comments on the Mac App Store for Tuneup. More than 50% of the comments are 3 or below on a 1-5 scale. Several respondents stated that using Tuneup fouled up all their metadata. So I will be avoiding that application.
