I have installed Messenger on my computer, but when I try to sign in, it tells me to download an update. So I download the update, and I get a new file on the desktop called Messenger.Bin.Uncompressed, and when I click it, it tells me to choose and aplication to open it. How do I use this to update messenger?

Get Adium and don't use MSN. I'm not sure what could be the problem. After you download the update, have you tried dragging and dropping the update file onto the MSN application? Worth a shot.

Sounds like its corrupt. Just go to mactopia.com (microsoft) and download latest MSN messenger. Or find it on Apples downloads section. And replace the app in your apps folder.
