I just installed Office 2004 on my new Macbook. I have tried to update it since a new update hit today.

I couldn't update since I did not have the previous update.

Herein lies my dilemma. I went to 11.3.9 to update that, I couldn't because I don't have 11.3.8, etc....you see where this is going.

I tried the auto updater and it wouldn't work.

How can I get all the updates at once to get my Office up to date?

Ok I just updated from 11.3.9 to 11.4.0 with no problems. Where does it say you need 11.3.8 If you already have installed 11.3.9 You should have no problems installing to 11.4

The version that my Mac says that I have is 10.1.4. I just put Office on my Mac.

I tried to put on the Service Pack 1 from a few years ago and it still wouldn't update.

Ugh....

Oops!

After a few more frustrating minutes I finally grabbed the box. To my surprise it is Office X, not 2004.

I am searching for a place to update it.

I think I might just go buy Office 2008. :D

Oh that'll do it. Glad you got it figured out.
