The day has finally come…
I bought a MBP (*1) in mint condition at bargain price ($300 or so) a year ago. It looked like brand new, but the built-in camera didn’t work and was the only drawback which was the major reason for the price reduction.
The seller had no idea why the laptop didn't recognize the internal camera. I did everything that experts advised me to make it work again, but none of the methods went well.
I kept updating the computer manually so that I can check if the latest files from Apple can fix it. And today… I finally saw it worked!!(*2)
Until now, Photo Booth, FaceTime and System Report only said “No camera found” or “No camera connected”, but now the System Report has the information of the built-in camera including Model ID & Unique ID and it works on Photo Booth and FaceTime.
Thank you for reading!!
Thank you everyone who tried to help me!!
Have a great day!!
