After listening to my iPod, when I'd drop it into the craddle, it would automatically update the iTunes Recently Played list.

But no more.

Anyone know why or what I need make it happen again - I liked that feature.

If you set it to automatically update this should work fine. If you are manually updating your iPod it doesn't transfer 'last played' information.

Oh thats why it stopped doing that...I have to manually update mine as I have over 30gb of music...is there any other way?

I don't think so, I am in the same situation as you, although I now update automatically via selected playlists. That way it keeps track of my play info. Could you go a similar route?
