Hi, Just have a quick question:

If I update Safari, will all my bookmarks remain as they were?

I've heard of them disappearing when changing to a different browser such as Firefox - I would imagine they should be Ok when just updating to a newer version of the same one but want to make sure - Just in case!!

Anyone had any Issues with this?

Using Safari Version 5.0.5 with OSX 10.5.8

Thanks :)

I've never seen my bookmarks get affected by a software update.

Bookmarks missing when switching programs is a completely different issue. Bookmarks are saved based off the browser they are created in. Some (such as chrome) can import bookmarks from other browsers but this is not a default action.

However, you are not changing browsers, you are simply updating your current browser. Safari will keep your personal bookmarks intact.
