wife's company has a screen which is attached to a mac mini in and is in a hotel to show information about their company. beforehand they had specific software to do it which was rubbish, but thats all been canned and the screens left to gather dust. she wants me to use it to show adverts for their products.

now i know i can go there whenever i need to with any new graphics on a usb stick, but im trying to avoid that.

i tried to use teamviewer but the free version puts up a product advert when you disconnect so thats no use.

screen sharing i cant do as no one seems to know the admin password (can this be overridden by whipping the whole machine and starting again ? )

Screens wont work because i cant get access to information about ports etc...

i was thinking, i can easily set up the screen saver to kick in, and show a folder of files, so if i can add files to that folder, then it will be doing what i want to to update the info.

1. is there anything i can do to set up a script to automatically save any graphics received by email, into a folder?

2. Is dropbox easier than anything above ? could i just have dropbox installed on it (do i need the admin password?) and drop the files into the dropbox.
