Right now I am about to throw my Macbook out the window. It has had the high pitch buzzing sounds since new. When I take it in to the Apple service centre they can not here it. Both my mum and dad can here it so it is not me. CHEEKY BUGGERS. :p

What I was just thinking is would it be a good idea in your mind if I update this other wise perfect computer to a newer model. Or another idea I had was buy a monitor and use it with the lid closed. Has this work for anyone else. CONFUSED. Or am I over reacting.

glad to test it for ya! ship it asap please...testing starts monday.

If you feel isolating the unit by using a separate monitor (and keyboard & mouse) will give you peace of mind - go for it!:D

I will ship it off to you tonight. :p

Does having the mac books lid closed stop the buzzing. For those who had or have a buzzing mac book?
