Updating to 4.2.1

Im on 4.1 on my ip4 now.
I was thinking to update but then I heard that ip4 on 4.2.1 becomes slower..
Is it true?
Shall I update now or wait for 4.3 or something like that?
 
Huh? 4.2.1 works flawlessly on my iPhone 4 and 3GS, don't hesitate to upgrade
