Hey y'all,

I have an iPhone 4 on 4.2.1, jailbroken via greenpoison.

I want to update to 4.3 (willing to lose all jailbreak), but I am a tad bit worried about the update process.

Do I just click the update button in iTunes?

I did use Tinyumbrella before, so I already edited the hosts back to normal.

Thanks!

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

OP, can you pls post if your baseband was updated? Did you try to preserve it by keeping tinyumbrella in the background?

If you search around you will find a few people who got errors because of a HOSTS line that the last iTunes upgrade did not change.

They've got around the problem by manually deleting the line in HOSTS that was pointing to the wrong server.
