Hi all i have a Iphone 3g that is jailbroken and is on firmware 3.12 i was wondering what jailbreak's is out for the most up to date firmware which i believe to be 4.2 that they stopped doing it?

Also is they any unlock's available for it if i update? Not that i would be to bothered atm just incase i want to make it easier to resell.

Cheer's :)!

You can use snowbreeze or pwnagetool to upgrade to iOS 4.2.1. Though the best option would be to keep your 3G on 3.1.3

whats your baseband or modem firmware version? and you can use sn0wbreeze to create a custom ipsw and update to 4.2.1

perfect! you're covered by Ultrasn0w unlock. make sure you update using a custom ipsw created with pwnagetool or sn0wbreeze, that way you will not risk updating your baseband. then install Ultrsn0w and thats it.
