Hey all. When I go to update my devices with the IPSW files on my Mac, I plug them into the Finder, then I press "Option" button on my keyboard and press then "Check for Update" button. This would normally bring up a finder window wherein I can go select the IPSW file. However, the button combination works at times. Most other times I receive a message informing me that my device is updated to iOS X.YZ. To be able to get the window to appear, I have to use terminal to killall Dock, restart the mac, use other cables, use other ports, do a rain dance or two, only then will it work. Any suggestions?
