iOS Updating Xcode?

I don't get the question. How do you expect to update XCode without downloading a more current version. Magic?
If you have a slow link, try finding a faster one, like at an Apple store. Perhaps they even have the latest public release that you can get a copy of.

Is there a way to update Xcode or do I have to completely redownload it?
