Trying to update my MacBook so I can update my devices to ios5 and it's looks like it's freezing at installing 3 items.....this may take a few mins, any suggestions it's been a lot longer than a few mins

I am having the same issue. Now, my computer won't even boot. It just sits on the gray screen with the apple logo and the spinning icon.

Any ideas?
