Hey this is my first post, but my title pretty much says what my question is. Is it possible to add a ssd to a late 09 imac 27 (i5 2.66) without removing the optical drive? I want to have the stock 1tb and a ssd without removing the optical - I know this is possible on the new 27 imac's, but is it possible on my late 09 27?

thanks

Looking at step 10 of the following, it does not appear that you can.

My recommendation, if you're comfortable opening up the chassis, is to replace the internal drive with an SSD, and to move the 1TB drive to an external chassis (USB or Firewire)
