Upgrade a spirit-jailbroken 3.1.3 iphone 3gs to iOS4 on itunes. SAFE?

hello there. i have a jailbroken 3.1.3 iphone 3gs and im itching to upgrade to ios 4. is there anyone whos done this and not experience anything negative?..if you do let me know what it is. thanks!
 
It will be fine. Upgrade to 4.0.1 through iTunes, then use jailbreakme.com to restore your jailbreak.
