Upgrade bootloader

How does one go about upgrading the bootloader on a 16GB iPod touch? My friend used ZiPhone and wants to undo what it did, which was downgrade the bootloader.

Pwnage doesn't have an option for this type of stuff for iPods, only iPhones.

but I have seen some really interesting case designs... one being called the 'Boot Holder' so that you can listen to your ipod while getting down on the twostep floor... whoooo hooo!!
