Upgrade Carrier Settings Running 4.1

Dear users,

I've been unable to send MMS's for god knows how long, and I was wondering if the "Upgrade Carrier Settings" popup I keep getting might fix it.

If I do upgrade my carrier settings will it affect my iPhone 4 in anyway or change my modem firmware?

Version: 4.1 (8B117)
Carrier: Optus 8.0 (Australia)
Model: MC605X
Modem Firmware: 02.10.04

Has anyone else had problems like this before, Thanks alot guys hopefully I get this fixed quite soon!

Forum policy's doesn't allow bumping. and Nope I haven't had that issue.
