So here's the deal.
I have the 3G from last year and my mom has the original iPhone. She is eligible for an upgrade and I am not. I want the 3Gs and then she could have my 3G. If she upgrades to the 3Gs and then we swap SIMs, will this work? Or is there a way to just transfer upgrades so I can upgrade?
Thanks!

READ the threads right below yours, please. It is possible, but it is more than a SIM swap.

You are cool. Cause the data package is the same for the 3GS. I would recommend updating the IMEIs through customer care though.

I apologize but I don't know what thread(s) the first responder is talking about. Looking through the first two pages nothing caught my eye that answered my question. Would you please point me in the correct direction?
