I can confirm that some basic OpenCL examples certainly work on 8800GT on 08 Pro and are therefore likely to work on GT 120. Theoretically at some point OpenCL should talk to 4870 (i.e. be truly Open for GPUs) but I stayed away from it due to current uncertainty and augmented the 8800 with a GTX 285 - CUDA then talks nicely to both under Windows and the 8800 under OS X. One advantage of 120 is: though I think it has fewer cores it is powered off the PCI bus only, leaving you with more free power connectors for something heavier in the other X16 slot.
