In the span of two weeks my upgrade eligibility jumped ahead quite a few months. Naturally, I'm thinking that could be an indicator for the next iPhone release

Is it normal for ATT to bump your eligibility up that much? I'm on a typical iPhone plan ($59.99 voice, unlimited text and data) and pay the bill on time every month, but this would make me upgrade eligible after 12 or 13 months instead of the usual 18.
