I live close to the border in a town at&t says they don't support, but the town right next to me they do, even though they have less service. There has to be a mistake on at&t's part because i get 5 bars in the middle of my town, but the town next to me (Which att supports) i get like 2 bars. Well when i signed up for the iphone 4 i did something that allowed me to use the service in my town (I forget). But when i check my upgrade eligibility it says "You don't live in a supported town blahblahblah" How can i get passed this. I just want to check to see when my contract is over

Log into your account on ATT.com and look at your contract details. It should state the date somewhere in there.

im looking to see if you can get that early upgrade thign if your account is over 100$ a month

But i have another question.

That's right. Trying to order it beforehand will give you the full price.
