just get it for her, then switch SIMs
If you have At&T you can just take her upgrade price from her on the AT&T website.im not eligible to upgrade but my wife is. She doesn't want the new phone but I do. If she buys the new phone at the upgrade price can I activate it as my phone?
I should be able to just pre order it through att on Apple's website, right? It won't come activated. So I plug in her info for pre-order and then activate it with my info once it arrives. That should work, right? If you have At&T you can just take her upgrade price from her on the AT&T website.
I don't see why that wouldn't work.I should be able to just pre order it through att on Apple's website, right? It won't come activated. So I plug in her info for pre-order and then activate it with my info once it arrives. That should work, right?
I should have specified that we're not on a family plan. We can't ever seem to work out a deal that would make us want to switch to one.Att has something called a shared upgrade. Maybe look into that.
I'm not sure how it works if you're not on a family plan. Use AT&T's online chat and ask them. They're pretty helpful.im not eligible to upgrade but my wife is. She doesn't want the new phone but I do. If she buys the new phone at the upgrade price can I activate it as my phone?
