I'm on an Intel 2020 iMac 27" Catalina, and I tried to upgrade to Ventura, and after downloading the installer of about 12Gigs, it sat there for a while.

So I clicked the "upgrade" button again and now there were two instances of the upgrade running in the dashboard. I clicked it again and now there were 3 instances running. So I right clicked and killed two of them. Then I got a message that said the file is corrupt.

I'm surprised that the download from apple itself could be corrupt? Is this a common issue? Do I delete it and re-download?

thanks

Looks like my Mac went to sleep during the download, so I downloaded it again and kept my Mac in caffeinate. Kind of stupid of Apple to not keep the Mac awake for such huge download for the upgrade.
