Ok, so last night I upgraded my 2011 Macbook Air from ML to Mavericks. Just before I hit the upgrade button I checked to see how much free space I had on my SSD and I had a little over 10gb space left on my 256SSD.

Well, it was late and I was tired and I fell asleep during the upgrade. When I woke up this morning I checked my computer to see if the update installed correctly, and everything seem to look and work just fine, but when I checked to see how much free space I had on my SSD, it now says I have 29.6gb available.

Is this normal, or should I start going through all my files and make sure something wasn't deleted? thanks.

Well it isn't for me, I lost all the songs I downloaded to listen offline on Spotify. Have to re-download over all of them. Though I'm not sure all of it comes from Spotify alone as I gained over 20GB while I don't believe I have 20GB of songs.
Maybe something else is missing too.
