Hi..I have a 12 Pro...I am generally very happy with it...But...I find the battery life to not be great...battery is still at 100% health...I have also not loved the weight of the 12 Pro...too heavy. Was thinking of 13 Pro...but that would be heavier. Is it "crazy" to "upgrade" to the base 13? Screen would be same as 12 Pro, weight would be a little less, cameras not as great but not a big deal to me, BUT the batttery may be much better? Thoughts...I would trade in the 12 Pro so cost of 13 would be very little...then I could trade the 13 in next year for the ... hopefully... much changed 14 pro. Thanks

Why not get a battery-case or the MagSafe battery instead?

I think there's only about 90 or so minutes more added with the 13 Pro. The battery life on my 12 Pro was awesome though.

I didn’t have the 12 Pro, but had an 11. I did like the weight savings from that.

In regards to other items, the main sensor is from the 12 PM so it’s really impressive. One feature I have been way more pleased with than I thought is cinematic mode (exclusive to the 13 series).

Battery has been good. I thought my 11 was good too, and it seemed there was a step back with 12 series. No complaints with battery.

You can’t go wrong with your current phone or a 13. If it’s a weight thing, the new 13 will obviously help. Just make sure you use a case that weighs less too (I have found the Apple leather to be fairly light).

I might be misreading, but the 13 Pro has the ProMotion (120hz refresh rate) screen which is noticeably better than the screen on the 12.

And the camera improvements are pretty significant going from a 12 Pro to a 13 Pro.
