I had a 12 pro for 3 years before upgrading to a 15 Plus. I’ve been an iPhone user since the 4 but had never had a larger phone so wanted to see how it felt. I love the larger size but seriously regret not going Pro because the camera leaves something to be desired. I go to a lot of concerts and I’m not thrilled with the photo quality.

There’s a great promo happening with my provider now for a 16 Pro Max. Is it worth the trade in?

I don’t think the quality jump is big 15 to 16, the extra lens on pro is telephoto so are you looking for zoom lens for concerts?

Yes, zoom and good quality photos while in dark mode.
I have the 15 Pro Max and I go to approximately 30 concerts a year. Personally I think the rumor of the 17 Pro Max getting a 48mp telephoto lens is enticing. I skipped the 16 without thinking twice but that would be something I’d upgrade for.

If the best camera available on an iPhone is high on your list, you should make the upgrade IMO. I'm a light phone user but wanted the best iPhone camera, so I opted for the 16PM.
My mom got the 16 pro and I compared photos from my 15 when I visited her yesterday… both at 5x zoom. Made the decision super easy, I got my 16 pro max today! My first black iPhone since the 4, too!!
