Do you think AT&T will have the deal like last time? (Going from iPhone to iPhone 3G) Meaning that even if you are still in contract, we can upgrade our phones without paying full price. I really hope so.

NOOOOOOOOO! If you are past 1 year you can pay an extra $100, otherwise no! For the love of god, the EDGE was NOT carrier subsidized, this one IS, there is a difference!

You can only upgrade at the lesser prices if the last time you bought an unsubsidized phone was 18months or more ago. If you upgraded more than 12months, you can pay an extra $100.

Let me know if a little more speed and better camera is worth the $400 price tag.

Or $300 if you want to wait until November.

Personally, the people who are going to pay for the new Iphone are just going to do it. Waiting 5 months to save $100? Please.

Hey, it's just a personal decision that I decided to make, criticize if you must but oh well. I also upgraded early to get on track with Apple's updates so when they release they're next updated phone (let's just assume it's a year from now) I'll already have had this one for a year, thus not feeling as bad about upgrading.
