I’m using a 3 year old 7 Plus 128GB but I have decided that now it’s the time to pass it to my son and buy something new for me.
Yesterday I have watched the live stream with the big expectation of falling in love with the 11 Pro Max but it didn’t really happened...
Great improvement in battery life, interesting features with the new 3 lens camera but apart from that I have got the feeling that this is just a marginal upgrade.
With big expectations for next year (5G and probably a new form factor) I’m really wondering whether getting a Pro 11 Max is really worth the money or not.
An alternative solution for me may be to upgrade to XS Max now and pass it my wife next year, taking advantage of the real good prices that I have seen today online in the Country where I live (the UAE).

XS Max 512GB at the equivalent price of 1,043 USD sounds like an incredible deal to my ears considering the big step I’m gonna male compared to my old 7 Plus.
