Upgrade from 8 to XR?

My work offers a corporate rate where I can get the XR for $11/mos. Is XR a good upgrade for that price or stick with my 8?

I went from a 6s to my XR. Would have loved to get it for that price. Very happy with the XR. Took very little time to get used to Faceid and gestures in place of the home button. Camera and display is not as good as my wife’s Xs Max but it’s good enough for me.
